零售商利润率得到财政支持

继 2020 年下滑 16.4% 后,新加坡零售额在 2021 年实现了超过 11% 的反弹。由于通胀率升高,可能会影响可支配消费支出,同时新 冠病毒新变种的传播仍构成下行风险,复苏速度可能会在 2022 年 有所放缓。全球经济和国际旅行复苏缓慢,对严重依赖对外贸易和 旅游业的经济体构成了挑战。然而,据 Statistica 表示,家具、电 子消费品和家电在 2022 至 2025 年的复合年增长率分别为 18%、 8.7% 和 16.5%。

如今,零售商的能源成本升高,但他们能否将升高的投入价格转嫁 给终端客户还有待商榷。虽然仍然存在供应链中断问题,但企业已 经从疫情高峰期严重的供应链瓶颈中吸取了教训。例如,在春节等 节日旺季到来前,零售商已开始提前囤积库存。这有助于削弱供应 链问题对收入和利润的影响。由于线上销售变得日益重要,大多数 实体零售商尝试与电商平台合作,和线上同行展开竞争。我们预计 实体零售商将会愈发适应新的战略,在提高线上销售额的同时保持 竞争力。

过去两年,在全面财政刺激的有力支持下,大多数零售商能够维持 自身利润率。耐用消费品零售行业的平均付款时间为 60 至 90 天, 延迟付款情况没有增加。去年部分零售商因亏损而被迫申请破产, 但在财政措施的支持下,大部分企业得以维持经营。由于政府在 2022 财政年度预算中再次为新加坡企业提供专项支持,我们预计 今年的破产情况不会恶化。
