通胀升高,消费者信心下降,进而抑制销售

疫情导致巴西经济深度萎缩,已失去反弹动力。由于高通胀率、高 利率以及持续高失业率,2021 年下半年的零售额出现同比降低, 2022 年初依旧疲软。尽管该国自 2021 年下半年以来多次上调基 准利率(2022 年 3 月达到 11.75%),我们仍预计,2022 年的年通 胀率将增至 10%。由于消费信贷成本提高,食品和燃料价格急剧上 涨,消费者信心低迷,抑制了耐用消费品行业的发展。

经过 2021 年 1.9% 的增长后,我们预计今年的零售额将下跌 0.4%,家电增加 值下降约 4%。不过,在线销售额仍将持续增长,继 2021 年增长 27% 及 2020 年增长 41% 之后,2022 年将增长约 12%。线上竞争 尤其会影响电子消费品和小家电的实体零售商。

大多数耐用消费品零售商极其依赖银行融资,贷款渠道依然通 畅。虽然利润率总体较低,但家具零售商的利润率通常仍高于家 电和电子消费品领域的同行。2021 年,所有子行业的利润率均有 增长,但由于经济环境及销售前景低迷,我们预计 2022 年情况会 恶化。零售商试图转嫁耐用消费品生产商所强加的价格增长,但 由于家庭购买力下降,较高的终端价格会阻碍销售。此外,高昂的运输成本也会对生产商和零售商产生影响。一些零售商还面临 较高库存的问题。

过去两年中,该行业的平均付款时间为 90 天,付款行为始终较 为良好。但是,我们预计未来 12 个月的延迟付款会有所增加。去 年,耐用消费品零售行业的破产水平较低,但我们预计 2022 年 将增长约 5%,主要影响的是小规模实体零售商。由于信用风险升 高,销售前景低迷,我们的承销立场介于中性和严格之间,因子行 业而异,具体取决于单个企业的财务状况和销售业绩。
